We strive to maintain and enhance your trust in us by adhering to the following principles: accountability, purpose specification, consent, data minimization, security safeguards, individual participation, and transparency. We commit to implementing appropriate security measures following industry standards to protect your personal information.

Before using our products or services, please carefully read this Policy to understand how we collect and use information, enabling you to make informed choices. Unless otherwise specified, terms used in this Policy have the same meanings as in the User Agreement. By using our services, you agree to our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your information as described in this Policy, as well as the control and protection measures we provide.

I. Scope of Policy

1.1 "Products and Services" refers specifically to DTRANX's products or services ("Services") covered by this Policy, including but not limited to Human-Machine Translation System (MH, LanCAT), Smart Translation Teaching System (PBLT), Machine Translation System (LanMT), Document Translator, Multilingual Content Management System (MC), Corpus Alignment Tool, and DTRANX AI Live.

1.2 "User" refers to any individual, group, or entity that registers, signs in, or uses DTRANX's products and services, referred to as "you" in this Policy.

II. Information Collection

We process your personal information following principles of legitimacy, fairness, necessity, and good faith. When using our products and services, you need to/may authorize us to collect and use your personal information in the following scenarios:

2.1 To provide basic functionality and comply with legal requirements for user information, you must provide true identity information where required by law. Without complete or legally compliant information, you cannot use our products or services normally.

(1) Phone Number or Email Address

When registering as a DTRANX user, you must provide at least a phone number or email address to create an account and complete related online identity information (such as username and password). This information is used for account creation, sign-in, recovery, and password updates. If you only browse DTRANX's website without directly using our products or services, you don't need to provide this information.

(2) Device Information

When you access or use our services, we may collect your device information to optimize interface display, prevent unauthorized logins, maintain necessary logs, and ensure account security, transaction security, and system security. Additionally, if you're not signed in, we use your device information to provide relevant information displays. We may collect device status including device model, IMEI/Android ID/IDFA/OPEN UDID/GUID/OAID, SIM card IMSI, ICCID information and other device identifiers, device MAC address, mobile application list, and telecommunications carrier information. We won't collect this information without your authorization. Most mobile device manufacturers support modifying device identifiers to ensure your control over personal information. Please refer to your device instructions for specific methods.

2.2 To enhance your experience and provide personalized services, you may choose to use our extended features. We will collect and use the following information in accordance with legal requirements and your specific authorization. This information is collected in specific feature scenarios, and not providing it won't affect your use of DTRANX's basic functions.

(1) Name, Contact Information, Company Details

When applying for DTRANX service trials and collaborating with other members. We request relevant information based on specific scenarios and strictly protect your personal information, such as displaying your name and organization in team tasks to facilitate team communication.

(2) Device-Related Information

When using DTRANX services, we receive and record browser, computer, and mobile device information based on your granted permissions, including:

- Log information (automatically collected during service use)

- Device and software information (model, OS version, unique device identifiers, battery, signal strength, software version, browser type)

- IP address

- Service logs (search history, viewed information, service errors, referral URLs)

- Communication logs (accounts communicated with, time and duration)

- Location information (when using location-related services)

- Other relevant information to improve service delivery

2.3 Information from Third-Party Partners

We may receive information generated or shared when you use third-party partner services. For example, when using your DTRANX account to sign in to third-party services, we receive the service name and login time for authorization management. Please review third-party service agreements and privacy policies carefully.

III. Information Use

We strictly comply with laws and agreements with users, using collected information for the following purposes. To ensure service security and better understand our application performance, we may record relevant information such as usage frequency, error information, overall usage, performance data, and application sources. We won't combine analytics data with personal identity information you provide. If we use your information beyond these purposes, we will inform you and obtain your consent.

3.1 To provide services.

3.2 To meet personalization needs (e.g., language settings, operation settings, personalized help).

3.3 To facilitate team collaboration during service use.

3.8 To invite you to participate in service-related surveys. To improve your experience and our services, or for other agreed purposes, we may use information collected from one service for our other services, in compliance with relevant laws. For example, using your information from one service to display personalized content or advertisements in another, or for user research and statistics.

3.9 For other purposes required by applicable laws and regulations.

IV. Information Processing, Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

4.1 Processing

Some specific modules or functions are provided by external suppliers. For example, we engage service providers for customer support. We sign strict confidentiality agreements with companies, organizations, and individuals who process personal information on our behalf, requiring them to follow our requirements, this Policy, and other relevant confidentiality and security measures.

4.2 Information Sharing

Except for the following circumstances, we won't share your information with any third parties without your consent:

(1) To provide our services through cooperation with partners and other third parties to implement core functions.

(2) To maintain and improve our services through sharing with partners and third parties to provide more targeted and enhanced services.

(3) To fulfill our obligations and exercise our rights under this Policy or other agreements with you.

(7) To provide information as agreed in specific service agreements or legal documents.

We share your information only for legitimate, proper, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes. We sign strict confidentiality agreements with companies, organizations, and individuals with whom we share information, requiring them to process information according to our instructions, this Policy, and other relevant security measures.

4.3 Information Transfer

We won't transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual except:

(1) With your explicit consent.

(2) In cases of merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation involving personal information transfer, we will require the new company to continue being bound by this Policy or obtain your authorization again.

4.4 Information Disclosure

We will only disclose your information under the following circumstances, with industry-standard security measures in place:

(1) When disclosure is made according to your needs and with your explicit consent.

(2) When required by law, mandatory administrative enforcement, or judicial requirements. Under legal compliance, when receiving such disclosure requests, we require the receiving party to present corresponding legal documents like subpoenas or investigation letters. We carefully review all requests to ensure they have legal basis and are limited to data that law enforcement agencies have legitimate rights to obtain for specific investigations.

4.5 Exceptions to Prior Consent for Information Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

Prior consent is not required in the following circumstances:

(1) Related to national security and defense.

(2) Related to public safety, public health, or significant public interests.

(3) Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment execution.

(4) To protect your or other individuals' life and property rights when consent is difficult to obtain.

According to law, processing de-identified personal information that recipients cannot restore or re-identify does not require notification and consent.

V. Information Storage and Protection

We retain your information only for the period necessary for the purposes stated in this Policy and as required by law.

5.1 Data Storage Location

Information collected about you is stored on servers controlled, used, or leased by us and/or our affiliates, with strict confidentiality and access controls. Information collected and generated during our operations in mainland China is stored within China.

5.2 Private Deployment Products and Services

We do not collect or use any information from privately deployed products and services, nor are we responsible for users' data deletion or storage failures in local services. Exceptions apply when users authorize us to use local data for training and optimizing private products during maintenance, but even then, DTRANX uses user data in an isolated environment.

5.3 Data Retention Period

We determine the maximum storage period for user data based on actual circumstances and allocate corresponding storage space on servers. We recommend that you backup your service data according to your needs.

5.4 Data Deletion

When users stop using our services, deactivate accounts, or reach storage limits, DTRANX has the right to permanently delete your data from servers, except as otherwise required by law. After service termination, DTRANX has no obligation to provide or return data.

5.5 We strictly protect users' communication privacy according to law and implement the following measures:

(1) Technical Protection: We employ various security measures at reasonable security levels, including encryption, anonymization, and trusted protection mechanisms against malicious attacks. We implement access control to ensure only authorized personnel can access personal information.

(2) Security System: We maintain an industry-leading data-centric security management system throughout the data lifecycle, enhancing system security through organizational structure, policy design, personnel management, and technical measures.

(3) Data Retention: We take reasonable measures to avoid collecting irrelevant personal information and retain your information only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this Policy, unless extended with your consent or legally permitted.

(4) Organizational Process Management: We establish dedicated management systems, processes, and organizations to ensure information security. For example, we strictly limit personnel access to information, require confidentiality obligations, and conduct regular audits.

(5) Emergency Response: In case of personal information breach or other security incidents, we will activate emergency protocols and notify you as required by law about:

- Basic details and potential impact of the security incident

- Measures taken or to be taken

6.1 Access Your Information

6.2 Correct Your Information

When you find errors in your personal information, you have the right to request corrections. You can submit correction requests to contact@dtranx.com, and we will respond within 30 days.

6.3 Delete Your Information

You can request deletion of your personal information in these cases:

- If our processing violates laws or regulations

- If we collect and use your information without consent

- If our processing violates our agreement with you

- If you no longer use our services or deactivate your account

- If we no longer provide services to you

When we respond to your deletion request, we will also notify entities that have received your information from us to delete it promptly, unless otherwise required by law or these entities have obtained your separate authorization. When you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete it from backup systems but will do so during the next backup update.

6.4 Change Your Consent Scope

Except for necessary information required in service scenarios, you can grant or withdraw your consent for additional personal information collection and use at any time. You can email contact@dranx.com to withdraw consent. After withdrawal, we will stop processing the corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw consent won't affect previous processing based on your authorization. If you don't want to receive our commercial advertisements, you can email contact@dtranx.com to withdraw consent.

6.5 Account Deactivation

You can deactivate your registered account at any time by emailing contact@dtranx.com.

After account deactivation, we will stop providing services and delete or anonymize your personal information as requested, except as otherwise required by law.

6.6 Response to Your Requests

To ensure security, you may need to provide written requests or otherwise verify your identity. We may require identity verification before processing your request. We will respond within 30 days.

We generally don't charge for reasonable requests but may charge reasonable fees for repeated or excessive requests. We may reject unreasonable requests that require excessive technical means (e.g., developing new systems or fundamentally changing current practices), risk others' legitimate rights, or are impractical (e.g., involving backup tape information).

We may not be able to respond to your request in the following situations:

(1) Related to legal obligations of the personal information controller

(2) Directly related to national security and defense

(3) Directly related to public safety, public health, or major public interests

(4) Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment execution

(5) Sufficient evidence shows malicious intent or rights abuse by the data subject

(6) To protect vital interests of the data subject or others where consent is difficult to obtain

(7) Response would cause serious harm to legitimate rights of the data subject or others

(8) Involving trade secrets

VII. Cookies and Related Technologies

These third-party services are operated by the respective third parties. We are not responsible for any third party's use of information you provide.

IX. Children's Personal Information

Our products, websites, and services are primarily intended for adults. Children should not create their own accounts without parental or guardian consent. For children's personal information collected with parental consent, we will only use or disclose such information when legally permitted, explicitly agreed to by parents or guardians, or necessary for child protection. Although local laws and customs may define children differently, we consider anyone under 14 years old as a child.
